HP720 is the new front e-mtb for 2023. Equipped with a 720 Wh battery that allows for greater autonomy on longer routes, this electric mountain bike, designed by Bikel’s technical department at the frame level, represents the perfect vehicle for bikers who prefer a more versatile e-mtb. The overall weight, given the achieved autonomy, remains low, allowing for agility even on the most challenging climbs. HP720 is also equipped with a 90Nm Polini E-P3+ MX electric motor, which provides this made-in-Italy electric mountain bike with greater thrust and traction in tackling any route. In addition, the cushioned fork and 4-piston brakes ensure descents in total control and safety, as well as superior performance for endless adventures.
The 720-watt battery is the element from which Bikel started in designing this electric mountain bike, from which everything else takes on its own dimension! It may seem obvious, but when you have 720 watts and are in the saddle for 4-5 hours, everything becomes important. Tires, seat post, grips, and gearshift become fundamental to the riding experience. Bikel’s proposal includes two configurations that share the frame, motor, and battery and differ primarily in the fork, seat post, transmission group, and wheels. The top-of-the-line model features Deda handlebars and stem, a 140mm Rock Shox Silver 35 fork, a 125mm travel telescopic seat post, and a SHIMANO XT 12-speed transmission group. The Mavic Crossmax 29″ boost wheels and TRP Slate T4 203/180 4-piston brakes were chosen for their “indifference to fatigue”.
